Types of Antique Musical Instruments
These instruments belonging to 18th and 19th century have been of historical interest. Musical instruments can be divided into four basic categories; which in turn is based on the mechanism by which the instrument produces sound.
- String Instruments: including guitar, violin, piano
- Wind Instruments: including flute, clarinet and saxophone
- Brass Instruments: including trumpet, french horn, tuba
- Percussion Instruments: including drums, cymbals
