Antique collectibles are essentially
art objects including paintings, coins, stamps etc which belong to a
particular period and are generally bought for investment value. The
value of these collectibles is based on the age of the product which
should not be less than 75 years. Authenticity is another important
factor determining the price or value of the product, reproduction or
refinished goods erode the value. Not all antiques are collectibles, and
not all collectibles antiques. These valued products are traded a lot in
the international market either through public/private dealers, antique
museums and Internet.
